Welcome
Dear Club Members ,participants and supporters We wish to inform all club members, officials and friends and potential participants of a major date change for the 2012 event. The Club was asked to move the event this year by the Bailiffs office in Jersey so celebrations for the Queens Diamond Jubilee could be planned in or around South coast venues over the first weekend in June ,our event which has been historically on or around the same weekend for some 12 years then moved to the 8-9-10 June. On the motorsport calendar this did not create an issue however unbeknown to the organising team it wasn’t until we started placing group bookings for the event did we find major issues. The proposed new date has a Group of over 2000 Watchtower delegates visiting the Island and a party of up to 150 Harley Davidsons and at least another 2 other conferences over this week end, this has put enormous strain on the mid-price range accommodation that we need to run this event ,furthermore the summer rate on travel would apply. We have been in contact with a number of our event supporters who are happy to bring the event forward to the last weekend in May, accommodation will be more in abundance as well as flights and ferry travel. The organisers wish to apologise if you have already booked travel/holidays and hope that this new date will be acceptable – it will not be changed again. We hope this does not cause you too much inconvenience and hope you will continue to support us .

The Jersey International Motoring Festival is the largest annual motoring event in the Channel Islands, comprising competitive sprint and hillclimbs for classic & vintage cars and motorcycles.
There is a full programme of events for touring cars and motorcycles and the largest static motor show in the Channel Islands featuring motor and ancillary trade stands and exhibits from all Jersey motoring clubs.
The essence of the weekend is to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in our beautiful Island and there are opportunities for car and motorcycle enthusiasts to use and display their “pride and joy” whether this be a veteran, vintage or classic, touring or competition car or motorcycle.
The event is run by the Classic & Vintage Motor Racing Club of Jersey and is open to participants in two main ways.
Touring
This is open to all cars and motorcycles and all drivers holding the relevant road licenses and insurance.
There can’t be a better way to see the Island of Jersey than from the seat of your classic (or modern classic).
Hill Climbs and Sprint Events
This is your chance to put your classic vehicle through its paces.
Cars manufactured prior to 1975 are eligible along with motorcycles prior to 1979.
Car drivers must hold an MSA Nat B (non race licence), and motorcycle riders can obtain ACU one day licenses if they do not hold an ACU competition License.
